Newly elected Mayor of Bedford ~ Dave Hodgson.

L'Aquila Earthquake Appeal in Bedford, 31st October 2009.

Taken on the approach to our town river bridge on 27th December 2007.

Prof. Dr. David Bellamy - İTony Margiocchi 2005. I have worked alongside this great man on two occasions, indeed it was David Bellamy and Jack Hargreaves who between them showed me about nature when I was a lad.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2nd as she arrived in Arlesey in 2007 accompanied by Prince Philip.

Prince Charles on a visit to Bedfordshire.

HRH Prince Edward - Taken when he visited the University of Bedfordshire in October 2007.

Another view of the changing face of the British policeman.

This man was a foreign national who went drinking on a weekend in Bedford's High Street. He was attacked he believed for being foreign! This was used in The Daily Express.

Well we have a huge Italian contingent here in Bedford, this chap is celebrating the 2006 World Cup win by Italy, Forza Italia!

OK Jeannette thinks she is in control, but in reality the Springer Spaniel is the boss!

This is where the photo proves the case. The hunt had denied that they had lost control of their hounds to Bedfordshire on Sunday, really?

Working in the streets can be dangerous, I don't have riot kit like these officers.

I am very proud to supply the University of Bedfordshire with images. This photo is from their 2007 Graduation in Bedford. İUniversity of Bedford

Yes she is the apple of her daddy's eye. Home portraits are easier than studio work because you are at home and therefore where you are most comfortable.

Another 'home portrait'. At home you can relax and feel in control.

Another in my set on armed police officers in England. It is very sad but this has had to come. Without these brave folk we would be open to all kinds of crime.

A polish veteran carries his flag at the Bedford Remembrance parade, 11th November 2007.

Here I am strung up over the 30th Bedford River Festival snapping the Base Jumpers, what a great bunch, they have real guts, me I was terrified!

I love doing images of tiny babies, it takes time and patience on everyone's part but is well worth the effort. Again I use a reportage style. I am always on the lookout for a newborn, let me know.

Gerry Springer at rest.

Capturing the moment is fantastic!

Capture the moment!

'capturing the moment' is what it is all about. No false blue backgrounds here, just real folk doing what they do. I feel that working in a reportage style brings out the real person behind the photograph.

I capture you as you are, and as you want to be seen, be it at home, in the workplace or as you can see here out on location.

I called this section 'Photojournalism/people" because the two subjects work well together.

I am always looking out for something new or different to add to my site, call me if you have any ideas for a photo project.
